Certain Cardiovascular Diseases
BOTOX® may have a negative effect on patients with certain cardiovascular diseases. It is best to avoid treatment to protect your health.

Pregnant and Nursing Women
BOTOX® Cosmetic may pose an unnecessary risk to a fetus or nursing baby. It is best to avoid BOTOX® if you are pregnant or nursing.

Neuromuscular Disease
Patients with neuromuscular diseases, such as Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome, are considered at high risk for BOTOX®. Symptoms of their disease may worsen, therefore it is best to avoid treatment.

Skin Infection
Treatment will be postponed if you have an infection in the area you wish to treat.

Allergies to Any of the Ingredients in BOTOX®
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in BOTOX® Cosmetic, do not undergo treatment. You may suffer from an allergic reaction, such as faintness, asthma symptoms and redness and/or itchiness at the injection site.

It is important for your safety to tell your consultant and medical injector of any allergies or existing medical conditions you may have during your consultation before treatment.
